Ready Before You Go Privacy Policy

Ready Before You Go helps users save places, plan outings, create checklists, and open third-party ride services. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.

Information Stored on Your Device

Saved places, trip plans, notes, checklists, and preferences are stored locally on your device. Ready Before You Go does not receive or maintain a central copy of this information.

You can remove this information by deleting items within the app, clearing the app’s storage, or uninstalling the app.

Address Search and Third-Party Services

When you search for a place or address, your search text may be sent to Google Places to provide address and business suggestions.

When you choose to request a ride, the app may open Uber or another external service. Information provided to an external service is handled according to that service’s privacy policy.

Microphone Access

If you choose to use voice entry, the app requests microphone permission so your device or browser can convert your speech into text.

Ready Before You Go does not store audio recordings. You may deny or revoke microphone permission and continue using typed entry.

Sharing, Selling, and Advertising

Ready Before You Go does not sell personal information.

The app does not use personal information for advertising and does not share locally saved trip information with data brokers.

Security and Retention

Information saved by the app remains on your device until you delete it, clear the app’s storage, or uninstall the app. Device security and backups are controlled by your device and account settings.

Children’s Privacy

Ready Before You Go is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated if the app or its data practices change. The effective date will be revised when an updated policy is published.
