How to use Ready Before You Go
Follow these steps using screenshots from the app.
1. Plan a trip
Open Week, select My Trips, and tap Plan a trip to organize an upcoming ride.
2. Save your frequent places
Open My Saved Places, then choose Save a new place. Search saved places or find one by voice.
3. Record ride costs
Open Costs to record your estimated and final fare, tips, receipt notes, and any fare problems.
4. Keep track of tips
Open Tips to see which completed rides still need a tip. After tipping in Uber, return to mark it done.
5. Back up your information
Tap Backup at the top of the app, then Backup my information. Keep the file safe, such as in Google Drive or email. Use Restore from backup when needed.
6. Get help or send feedback
Tap Help at the top of the app. Read privacy and Uber information or tap Send Feedback to email a question or report a problem.
Before opening Uber: Install and sign in to the Uber app. Ready Before You Go is an independent trip-planning app and is not affiliated with Uber.
