So, It Happened Again – Another Freeze-Dryer Adventure!

So, it happened again. I just had to play around with my freeze dryer, and this time, I went all out with strawberries and bananas. A few of you tried the strawberries and said they taste super sweet. Someone even called them “flavor bombs!”—which I’m absolutely taking as the best compliment.

Thank you to everyone who tried them and left those sweet comments. 😊

After nailing the chicken, I figured, why not make some dog treats? I had to let my dogs sample them beforehand, of course. So there I am, holding the spoon, and my little Chorkie, Tabitha, walks up. She takes one whiff, and next thing I know, she’s trying to chomp the whole spoon off! I guess that’s her seal of approval! 😂

P.S. You might hear my cat purring in the background—enjoy the extra dose of cuteness!) This video is exclusively made for our members and subscribers.

My big dogs are Salukis—Aden and Athena. Aden licks the spoon fast, but Athena always tries to outdo him! All of our dogs now come running whenever they hear me open the glass mason jar. That’s their little cue that treat time is about to go down!

Their favorites so far are treats made with organic chicken heart and sweet potatoes, and another batch with organic chicken liver. There’s no junk in the ingredients—just wholesome goodness. And as a bonus, I use these treats as a food topper to give their meals a little gourmet upgrade!

I’ve been experimenting with textures, too. I cook the ingredients on the griddle, lock in all that steam, puree them, and pop them into molds before freeze-drying.

My dogs love the crunchy ones, but I also made a batch that’s super soft and delicate. It’s like it just melts in their mouths, and judging by their reaction, I’d say they’re pretty pleased.

Oh, and just for fun, I whipped up some candies for Halloween. Because who can resist a little spooky-season treat-making? 🎃

Check out the pictures below to see how everything turned out! I’d love to hear what you think or if you have any fun ideas for future freeze-dryer experiments. You can always  email me😊
